Yes, I also read today and was possessively surprised.
So far I had only clicked on the "New Additions" and thought the HP is old. :-D

Re: Current list of commercial plugins?

Is this HP still up to date or is it active? (Current VST are listed.)
I thought it is no longer maintained because it says "New Additions" --> "New Additions for Winter 2006/2007:".

Re: Using amidi to send SYSEX to old synthetizers

I had successfully addressed the SynthController with this command line. 1.) First you cable the computers/interface and the device to be received (synthesizer/controller/...) over a short midi cable and without a patchbay in between. 2.) On the device to be received (synthesizer/controller/...): Se...

Re: Wiki update

When I read the Reaper thread I asked myself why the wiki still mentions "hpet". "tsc" is "only" mentioned in the FA Q: What about timers and timing ? . Is there a reason for this? So far I have always entered the hpet entries from the wiki. But both cat /sys/devices/sy...

Re: New KXStudio Repositories

I had done the dist-uprade with the "old" KXRepos and everything ran smoothly. I hadn't uninstalled anything. I wrote in my article: You should look at the backports before dist-upgrade! If elementary packages from the backports are installed (e.g. a kernel) you should uninstall them befor...

Re: Deleted Thread?

Righty o. I would say refering to it as the LM wiki when that title isn't used anywhere else is rather confusing. As far as I remember we (LM) had collected mainly technical knowledge here in the forum around 2006 - 2008. We then summarized this in a wiki. Since the wiki of linuxaudio still existed...

Re: Deleted Thread?

what is the LM wiki? The wiki is a community effort: everyone is welcome to suggest features, help updating wiki pages or joining the development team! <EDIT> Welcome! If you inform yourself about GNU/Linux, e.g. in the wiki, and find outdated, further, new entries you can report it immediately, yo...

Re: Deleted Thread?

[...] Indeed forum posts are a bit more ephemeral. I think that's OK and in line with the medium. For long-term knowledge collection/sharing we should be using different tools - though admittedly the ones readily available don't seem great. For example, the great LM Wiki, which is also a summary of...

<@falktx> raboof: just saw a discussion on LM. I purposefully deleted my messages. That's right, it's a pity about all contributions from FalkTX (and every other user of LM)!

Re: New KXStudio Repositories

Did anyone upgrade from Debian Stretch to Buster yet with the KX repos? As it's recommended to deactivate all foreign repos before the upgrade and also to uninstall all software from these repos I want to ask how you handled this. I did that. There were no problems. I had also asked falkTX about it...
